An important meeting was held within the MECAS project

         On February 6, 2026, an important meeting was organized as part of the MECAS project with the participation of consortium partners. The event was also attended by Erasmus+ EACEA Project Officer Maria-Sol Parrado, who made detailed recommendations on the issues that should be the main focus for the successful implementation of the project.

     During the meeting, within the framework of the MECAS project, issues were discussed on the development and implementation of new graduate programs in the field of eco-Informatics in the countries of Central Asia. In particular, plans were noted to create graduate programs in accordance with modern and labor market requirements in 5 higher education institutions within the consortium.

      It was also highlighted the importance of responsibility under the grant agreement (Grant Agreement), strict adherence to financial and organizational obligations, equipment procurement, budgetary flexibility, timely and transparent conduct of external assessment, communication and distribution (dissemination) activities.

       At the event, Project Coordinator Asiya Tureniyazova, project partners Perluiji Leone, Nicole Font Guedes and Dina Pereira spoke and expressed their opinion and suggestions on the importance, expected results of the MECAS project and further strengthening international cooperation.

     This meeting was an important step towards the qualitative and effective implementation of the MECAS project and determined specific directions and priorities for future activities.
