Established on January 24, 2025 in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and has more than 6 thousand undergraduate and graduate study students and 360 teachers. The main mission of NSTU is to train specialists with modern knowledge, practical skills and innovative thinking in engineering and technical fields, taking into account the needs of the regional economy.
The main tasks of the university are:

• improving educational programs in engineering disciplines in accordance with international standards;
• developing scientific research and innovative activities;
• strengthening cooperation with industrial and manufacturing enterprises;
• introducing digital educational technologies and distance learning methods;
• involving young people in scientific and applied research activities.

Founded in 2004, OBREAL initially focused on strengthening cooperation between Europe and Latin America. Since 2017, it has expanded its outreach to include Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, OBREAL played a significant role in reinforcing global collaboration in higher education and scientific research.

Its core mission is to build bridges between regions through education and science, contributing to sustainable development worldwide.

The history of Urgench State University is rich and distinctive. The institution traces its origins back to November 9, 1935, when the Khorezm Teacher Training Institute was established in Urgench. On September 1, 1942, it was reorganized as the Khorezm State Pedagogical Institute.

In February 1992, in accordance with a decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the institute was granted university status and officially became Urgench State University. The relocation to a newly constructed academic building in the late 1990s marked a new phase of modernization, enabling the university to align its educational, scientific, and cultural activities with contemporary standards and global trends.

Today, the university comprises 8 faculties, as well as master’s and part-time education departments. More than 1,000 professors and lecturers work across 39 departments. The university offers 106 undergraduate programs, 41 master’s specialties, and 8 joint educational programs, with over 30,000 students currently enrolled.

The higher education process has been transitioned to a credit-module system based on updated standards and qualification requirements. Educational programs and curricula have been revised accordingly. The quality of education is monitored through the HEMIS electronic management system, and digital technologies are widely integrated into the learning process.

Urgench State University actively expands its international cooperation, having signed agreements with more than 80 prestigious higher education institutions across 30 countries. Professors and scholars from Russia, the USA, Ukraine, Poland, Slovenia, Korea, Iran, Belarus, and other countries contribute to the academic process.

All these efforts are aimed at ensuring comprehensive institutional development, providing students with high-quality education, strengthening modern infrastructure, and preparing highly qualified specialists with strong scientific potential.

Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University, located in Kyzylorda, Kazakhstan, was founded in 1937 and is recognized as one of the leading higher education institutions in the region. The university comprises six institutes and twenty-four departments.

It offers 66 bachelor’s, 34 master’s, and 13 doctoral programs across a wide range of disciplines, including pedagogy, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, arts, business and management, law, engineering and technology, agriculture, and services.

Approximately 550 professors and lecturers provide education to more than 10,000 students. The university also operates five research centers and a military department. Additionally, 95 department branches are established at industrial enterprises, ensuring strong practical training and industry integration.

Active youth organizations at the university promote student participation in research activities and enhance their spiritual, cultural, and sports engagement. The Scientific Library offers an open learning space, access to the “Megapro” system in a 24/7 format, and external electronic resources. The university has nine academic buildings.

International cooperation has been established with educational institutions and leading research centers in Turkey, Canada, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Poland, Belgium, and other countries.
